About these terms
These terms govern your use of royalpawtraits.co.uk and the purchase of products from Pawtraits (trading as Royal Pawtraits), a UK-based business. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
The service
Pawtraits uses artificial intelligence to generate a stylised portrait of your pet based on a photo you provide. The portrait is then printed and shipped to you as a physical product. AI-generated results may vary and each portrait is unique. We cannot guarantee an exact outcome as results depend on the quality and content of the photo you upload.
Acceptable photos
You must only upload photos that you own or have the right to use. By uploading a photo, you confirm it does not contain any person's image without their consent, is not subject to third-party copyright, and does not depict anything unlawful or offensive. We reserve the right to refuse any order where the uploaded image does not meet these requirements.
Pricing and payment
All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Your order is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed. We reserve the right to update pricing at any time — the price shown at the point of purchase is the price you pay.
Production and shipping
Orders are sent to our print partner (Gelato) for production and fulfilment. Production typically takes 2–5 business days, with delivery times varying by location. We are not responsible for delays caused by the print partner or courier. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order is dispatched.
Returns and refunds
Each portrait is custom-made to your specification. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the 14-day right to cancel does not apply to goods made to a consumer's personal specification. This does not affect your statutory rights. If your order arrives faulty or damaged, please contact us at contact@royalpawtraits.co.uk within 7 days of receipt with a photo and we will arrange a replacement or refund. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
Intellectual property
The AI-generated portrait image is created for your personal use. You may print, display, and share your portrait for non-commercial purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, or use your portrait for commercial purposes without our written consent. Pawtraits retains no rights to your uploaded pet photo.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pawtraits is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of this service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
